The salutation station goes to school

The Salutation Station is now offering a programme of workshops to school teachers after school. Being a secondary school teacher myself I know only too well of the stress and strains that school teachers are under on a daily basis.

The needs of the pupil in schools are always the primary focus which is as it should be. However this can only be effectively delivered if the health and welfare of staff is maintained. Stress makes you sick, this is a fact and there are few more stressful jobs than teaching. A teachers Continued Professional Development has to start with the well being of themselves.

The benefits to teachers of having the opportunity to do yoga onsite after school are numerous;

Yoga detoxes the body and improves the immune system.
Yoga provides powerful relaxtion techniques helping to keep on top of those stress levels.

Being on site and directly after school makes yoga much more accessible for teachers.

In short yoga keeps you fit and healthy meaning a happier and more efficient workforce with less day lost off on the sick.

What better gift can you give to your staff to show them you care about their welfare?
