Donald was born in Zimbabwe and came to Scotland in 1978. Donald comes from a creative background. Trained in Fine Art he spent many years making and exhibiting his art. He now teaches Art part time in as well as running workshops in Sculpture and African Drumming. Despite having practised yoga for some years Donald discovered the true joy of yoga when using it as a form of therapy whilst recovering from a road accident. “Now teaching yoga for me is just a means of sharing that joy!” Donald qualified as a yoga teacher with the Chi Yoga Centre in August 2009. Donald specializes in Ashtanga and he is also currently training in the Ancient Tibetan Yoga form, Kum Nye. Donald runs a yoga studio from his home in Pollockshields called The Salutation Station. He is currently running yoga workshops for teachers in Secondary schools in partnership with Julie Hanson. Donald has been practising yoga for 8 years and has attended many yoga workshops including those of Manju Jois, David Swenson, David Keil and John Peacock.
